Seattle Tacoma

Sitting in Sea-Tac airport waiting for our flight.  Thinking over the past hectic week of ministry and fun.  Our church, (Humble Area First Baptist Church) partnered with The Pathway to do kids club in the city of Tacoma.  This group of 20 worked with kids singing, crafting, playing, snacking, corralling, ministering and generally just loving on kids. During the day we would prepare for the evening and go to various parks, cooking hot dogs, inviting people to join us for lunch and inviting them to kids club.  Certainly a different aspect of hospitality for me.  It was an awesome, but exhausting week of ministry.

Hot dogs in the park, they have an amazing park system!

Awesome Amy!

Snacks galore!

Parachute fun!

Mr. Wonderful helping make a necklace, (notice the glasses he borrowed from a lady on the team)!

On Wednesday we visited Seattle and had delicious scones with missionaries Ron and Patty, afterward we walked around the city to pray for people.  Seattle has such a diverse population, it was very eye opening.  We were able to briefly visit Pike's Market.  I must admit I want to go back and spend more time there,  I loved the abundance of fresh flowers, veggies and of course fish!

We were blessed  to visit and pray with various church planters in the area and hear about how God has laid on their hearts to minister.  This was so encouraging to see the dedication, hard work and love God has placed in their hearts for the greater Seattle Tacoma area.

Continuing to pray for the precious children, the church planters and those in the area who do not know the love of a Savior.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?
